PURGING NIGERIA

A west African country bless with so many natural resources, bless with hardworking citizens, people who have the desire and zeal to work for the greatness of the country. when you come to Africa seeking for its giant you will be brought to Nigeria because of its pulchritudinous nature, caring people, a fertile land that apart from its great aspect of rapid growth of trees, crops etc., Abstract elements also grows such as love, peace, joy, courage, etc. can be harvested from there.
They Nigeria, people knew is no longer as it was before, most of its potentials, essentials, have faded and they rest are easily fading why? Because we have fail to see our selves as one. When God created us he didn't create religion, but religion has now become a major issue in Nigeria today, most of the bad leaders we have elected came to power based on our religious
sentiment, we fail to put our heads together to make this nation a better place as it was.
The leaders of tomorrow that we the youths were always chanting those days in school, when will it come? When we the youths do not have unity amongst ourselves.
If we don't stand up and put our heads together to eradicate all the evils today the great Nigeria, people once knew will never be heard again. The pressure we are feeling today will be the persecution tomorrow.

    You're right and I think the owner of this article most have studied Nigeria for a while before even writing about it. Nigeria has a problem which known world wide no doubt about that. The only key to Nigerian problem is in the hands of the youths who have the capability and the capacity to make Nigeria functionable one. One thing which I'm sure is the reason why the youths don't want stand against the bloody and wicked rulers is Religion/Region and these very issues are killing us. Why can't we tell ourselves the truth at least ones in life time? During elections we vote based on sentiments and even end up killing ourselves. The rulers keeps on deceiving us and yet, we are blind folded by religion, region, and tribal or ethnicity and so, in as much as the ruler is from a side that favours my ego, am OK by what ever he does and the funny thing is, you still see those people who claim the ruler is from their site dying in Hunger and wallowing in abject poverty. Nigerian youths most be united and educated but good and wrong did as well as knowing who a good or bad leader is. If this is not achieved,then we all have our selves to blame as no one will come from else where to do what we are suppose to do as nation and as a people.

    Religious and cultural diversity has created a wide gap between peoples in Nigeria and nobody has yet man-up to the task of constructing a bridge.
    The popular cliche of "Young people are the leaders of tomorrow" turned out to be a major scam or fail as some people see it, because of the internet (social media). What was originally built to bring the world together has also created a divide as every youth (Nigeria especially) tends to focus more on trivia and minors and have forgotten the original plans our fore-fathers had laid in place for us.
    Take a look back in history, back to the military regime, a major percentage of the Nation's head of states were barely 35-40 when they started ruling the nation.
    We all know the government are not putting the right jigsaw of the puzzle together but WE Nigerian youths are 'post to rise to our stands also, set it off and bring back young servitude to the nation.

    Regardless of how things are transpiring, OUR WORDS AND OUR ACTIONS IS WHAT SHAPE OUR REALITY.
    NIGERIA IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE, BUT UNTIL WE LEARN TO HATE DIVERSITY MORE THAN WE HATE OURSELVES, WE WONT BE LIBERATED!

    Nigeria is indeed a great country; the Giant of Africa...
    But it has been polluted and corrupted with ills and vices. The sooner we realise that we, Nigerians, are one, irrespective of the financial, ethnic, religious and physical differences we all have, the better for us...
    There is no greater time than now...
    There will be no leaders of tomorrow if we do not start planning today...
    The future of our fatherland depends on it, For as it, United, We Stand; Divided, We Fall...
